Multimedia Journalist| Winnipeg Sun
In October 2013, Daniella began working as a multimedia reporter at the Winnipeg Sun. It was a return to newspaper for the reporter, who worked briefly at the Brandon Sun straight out of college. After producing at a community televsion station for a year and a half, Daniella was itching for a chance to return to news - and this was definitiely it.
As a multimedia reporter, she produced one web video (if visual story), with an accompanying full article each day. Daniella also wrote at least one other print story; chased breaking news; and tweeted updates throughout the day. To see examples of her web videos , click on the images to the right.
During her time at the Winnipeg Sun, Daniella also launched What's Up Winnipeg: a weekly look at local events that still continues today. Examples of that, and other print work are below.
